Events & Marketing Lead

Events Management

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including:

o Customer engagements and corporate events

o Corporate functions

o Conferences and trade shows

o Internal team-building and cultural initiatives

• Develops and manages external and internal event plan

• Plans and coordinates event-related services and general event logistics; including but not limited to: • venue

sourcing • bookings • vendor management • AV setup • catering • branding • transport • schedules • special

amenities • reservations • signage • displays • special needs requests and requirements • event security •

marketing and publicity • event-related materials (e.g., handouts, giveaways)

• Track timelines and event budgets, ensuring delivery within scope

• Oversee guest list management, RSVPs, and registration systems

• Lead on-site event coordination, including setup, hosting, and troubleshooting

• Conduct post-event evaluations and provide reporting with recommendations

• Maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, sponsors and 3rd parties

• Stay current with trends to introduce creative event concepts and enhancements

• Produce detailed proposals for events

• Create and execute procedures for all major event processes

• Administers events and activities in accordance with the policies, strategies, and mission of the company


Marketing Management

• Development of promotional content and event marketing materials (social media, website updates,

banners, booklets, flyers, emailers, presentations)

• Ensure branding consistency across all event touchpoints and communications

• Support marketing campaigns related to events – content scheduling, audience engagement, basic reporting

• Maintain event pages and updates on the website and LinkedIn

• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, HR, and leadership to ensure brand align


Requirements:

• Excellent presentation skills are a necessity

• Proven experience in planning and executing high-impact events

• Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Creative problem solver and detail oriented

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with various stakeholders

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and event management platforms

• Experience with basic marketing tools (Canva, HubSpot) is an advantage


Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.

• A driver’s license and own transport are advantageous.
